How a Made-to-Order Chandelier Is Made and Shipped

Every Joy’s ART chandelier is made to order in our Türkiye workshop. Here is what happens between your order and the day the light is hanging in your room.

1. We confirm the details

Dimensions, colors, finish, suspension length and electrical configuration are confirmed before production begins. For larger or custom pieces this is done in a written quotation, with drawings when they are needed.

2. Our team builds it by hand

Our team of artisans strings, knots and finishes each piece by hand. Wood beads are strung one by one and cotton is knotted over the frame, which is why no two pieces are exactly alike. Most standard designs take 2–4 weeks before dispatch; large-scale, highly customized or multi-unit work typically takes 4–10 weeks.

3. You see progress

We share progress photographs during production, and video for project work, so you can follow the piece as it takes shape.

4. Final approval before it ships

Before dispatch we send final approval media so you can check color, proportions and finish.

5. Packed for the journey

Large or delicate pieces travel in purpose-built protective packaging or a wooden crate. Tracking details are shared when the order leaves the workshop.

6. Delivery and installation

After dispatch, express delivery to most U.S. and European addresses is usually 3–10 business days; other destinations may take 10–21 business days. Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a qualified electrician, and we provide installation guidance for your electrician and installer.
