TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: September 4, 2026
OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Joys Art LLC, trading as Joy’s ART. Throughout this website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Joys Art LLC and Joy’s ART.
By visiting joysarts.com, using any part of the website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced below.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer our products and services.
SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to make a purchase or use this website.
You may not use the website, its content, or our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not introduce malicious code, attempt to interfere with the website, collect customer information without authorization, or violate intellectual-property, privacy, or other applicable laws.
We may restrict or terminate access to the website if these Terms are violated.
SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS AND HANDCRAFTED CHARACTER
Joy’s ART creates handcrafted decorative lighting, including made-to-order and bespoke chandeliers.
Because our products are handmade, slight variations in fiber placement, fringe alignment, bead position, texture, tone, dimensions, and finishing may occur. These natural variations are part of the handcrafted character of the product and are not considered defects, provided the product materially matches the approved design and specifications.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately. However, screen settings, lighting conditions, material batches, and handmade finishing may cause colors to appear slightly different in person.
Bulbs are not included unless expressly stated on the product page or written quotation.
SECTION 3 — CUSTOM AND PROJECT ORDERS
Custom orders may include non-standard dimensions, bespoke colors or materials, customized electrical configurations, suspension lengths, multi-piece arrangements, architectural installations, and commercial or hospitality projects.
The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving all written specifications, measurements, colors, drawings, and other order details before production.
Once production of a customized or personalized product has begun, the order cannot normally be cancelled or returned for a change of mind. This does not limit the customer’s rights if the delivered product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the approved specifications.
For bespoke, trade, hospitality, or commercial projects, an accepted written quotation, invoice, specification sheet, or separate agreement may contain additional terms. If those written project terms conflict with these general Terms, the project-specific written terms will control for that order.
SECTION 4 — ORDERS AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order due to pricing errors, payment problems, suspected fraud, product or destination restrictions, material availability, technical feasibility, or other legitimate operational reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment and before production or shipment, we will refund the amount due to the original payment method.
You agree to provide complete and accurate contact, billing, shipping, measurement, and project information. We are not responsible for delays, additional costs, or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
SECTION 5 — PRICES AND PAYMENTS
Prices may change without notice. The applicable price is the price confirmed when the order is accepted.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website. Currency conversion and international payment charges imposed by a bank or payment provider are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping, crating, duties, taxes, brokerage charges, and other destination costs are handled as stated on the product page, at checkout, or in the written quotation.
For orders using staged payments, production and shipment may be conditional on receipt of the agreed payments. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid before dispatch.
SECTION 6 — PRODUCTION TIMES
Most products are handcrafted to order. Production times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
The production estimate shown on the product page, order confirmation, or written quotation applies to that order. Large, complex, customized, and multi-unit projects may require additional time.
If a material delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer and provide an updated estimate.
SECTION 7 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping terms, estimated transit times, customs responsibilities, and transit-damage procedures are described in our Shipping Policy:
https://joysarts.com/policies/shipping-policy
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, carrier operations, weather, remote-area service, public authorities, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss or damage is handled according to applicable law, the selected shipping arrangement, and any written project terms.
SECTION 8 — RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns, refunds, damaged items, custom-order exclusions, and statutory withdrawal rights are governed by our Return & Refund Policy:
https://joysarts.com/policies/refund-policy
Products must not be returned without prior written authorization. The return address will be provided after a return request is approved.
The Wyoming business address shown in the Contact section is not a return address.
SECTION 9 — INSTALLATION AND SAFETY
Lighting products must be installed by a qualified and appropriately licensed electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions, product specifications, local electrical codes, building requirements, and ceiling-load conditions.
Before ordering and installation, the customer and installer are responsible for confirming:
- Ceiling structure and load capacity
- Mounting method and hardware suitability
- Voltage, socket type, bulb type, and wattage
- Dimmer compatibility, where applicable
- Required permits and local electrical-code compliance
- Appropriate suspension length and installation clearance
Do not exceed the maximum wattage specified for the product. Do not install or use a product that appears damaged.
Joy’s ART is not responsible for damage, injury, rewiring, structural failure, or code violations caused by incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, unsuitable mounting surfaces, incompatible electrical components, misuse, or failure to follow the provided instructions.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
SECTION 10 — WARRANTY
Any written limited warranty supplied with a product applies according to its stated conditions.
Warranty coverage does not normally include normal wear, minor handmade variations, accidental damage, misuse, improper cleaning, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, unsuitable bulbs or electrical systems, or damage caused by environmental conditions.
Any mandatory legal guarantee or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
SECTION 11 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All product designs, photographs, drawings, text, graphics, videos, branding, and other website content are owned by or licensed to Joys Art LLC unless stated otherwise.
You may not reproduce, manufacture, copy, distribute, sell, publish, modify, or commercially use our designs or content without prior written permission.
Purchasing a standard or custom product does not transfer intellectual-property or reproduction rights to the customer.
SECTION 12 — CUSTOMER CONTENT AND PROJECT PHOTOGRAPHS
If you submit reviews, photographs, comments, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.
We will not publicly use identifiable customer, private-home, or confidential project photographs for marketing without permission. Separate written project or trade agreements may include specific portfolio and photography terms.
SECTION 13 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, social platforms, and communication services.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, policies, availability, or actions. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
SECTION 14 — PRIVACY
Personal information submitted through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy:
https://joysarts.com/policies/privacy-policy
SECTION 15 — ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
Product descriptions, prices, measurements, promotions, shipping information, or other website content may occasionally contain errors or omissions.
We may correct errors and update information. If a material error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate option, which may include confirming the corrected terms or cancelling and refunding the affected order.
SECTION 16 — DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joys Art LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
SECTION 17 — FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, war, civil unrest, labor disruption, transportation interruption, customs action, government restriction, epidemic, carrier failure, supply shortage, or utility and communication outages.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and resume performance when reasonably possible.
SECTION 18 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
SECTION 19 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and agreements with Joys Art LLC are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
However, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rights that apply to a customer in their country or place of residence and cannot legally be waived.
SECTION 20 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this page. The date at the top shows when the Terms were last updated.
Changes will not retroactively reduce rights already established under an accepted order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
